Taha Sakr is a journalist based in Cairo Governorate, Egypt.

Taha Sakr is a political affairs journalist / news reporter, born in Saudi Arabia in 1992 who studied media and journalism in English language at the Faculty of Mass Communication at Cairo University.

Sakr’s experience extends for nearly seven years through which he started in 2012 as a TV shows writer, translator for the privately-run TV channel of Al-Tahrir (currently known as TEN) till 2014.

In 2013, Sakr started his career in writing news pieces in English language when he joined the English publication of The Cairo Post which is a sister outlet for the well-known newspaper of Youm7.

With the end of 2015, Sakr moved to work as political affairs journalist at Daily News Egypt where he was responsible on covering the military affairs , particularly in North Sinai.

His work has been highlighted in prominent international outlets such as The Jerusalem Post and Wikipedia.
